Rather than lecture or force you to read about what game design is all about, nothing beats playing a game to teach you about it! If you find it difficult to play this right now (due to flash/browser issues, time contraints, work firewalls, etc) then feel free to skip it for now and come back to it later Nothing in this system is a "prerequisite"!

With a good understanding of how to start testing out your game design ideas you should get familiar with a Prototying tool, the better you know it, the quicker you can test your ideas!
